Christian was the Head teaching professional at the Lakes Golf Club for 6 years and in this time developed the Lakes Golf golf coaching Sydney Academy and was involved in the design and implementation of the teaching facility. We also run a Golf Information Day just for the juniors and families on the last weekend of every school holidays!
The Coaching staff of Concord Golf Club are available for clinic style golf instruction. The dedicated short game facility on the practice range makes for an ideal entertainment and learning situation. There are ten practice range mats available for iron play only. For more than 15 years, Andy has taught famous professionals, leading amateurs and celebrities.

Since he left the Tour, he has been Head Golf Professional at several golf clubs across NSW, who has also designed and built golf courses in the Hunter Valley and Harrington Waters. The coaching philosophy of Mercer is that golf should be taught and learned in the simplest and most advantageous way possible. With excellent communication skills he successfully achieved results in his students of all levels.

Hurstville Golf Course is a picturesque tree lined golf course. The Par 70 layout is great for beginners and offers a challenge to the experienced golfers, especially around the well manicured greens.

Favourite sport outside of golf and sporting team or player? I don’t follow football religiously, but I do support Liverpool FC. I was lucky enough to score tickets to a home game at Anfield in 2018 which was an unbelievable experience. Tom Watson – even as a senior player he still has an unbelievable game and the most fluid swing that has stood the test of time. Arthur, or AK as he is affectionately known at the SGA, began working at Moore Park Golf in 2009 with the dream of one day becoming a teaching professional. After working hard on his game the opportunity eventually arose in 2011 when he was accepted into the PGA Traineeship Program. AK enjoyed plenty of success during his three years of PGA training which included four victories in trainee matches as well as topping his year in coaching.

Dennise’s coaching accomplishments match her playing skill. She was the first ever woman to be named in the Top 50 Coaches in Australia by Golf Magazine, and coached the Women’s World Cup team in 2010. Dennise also coached the NSW State Women’s team from 2008 until 2013, and was the coach for the NSW State Junior Girls team from 2012 through to 2014. She also coached the 2013 Australian Youth Olympic Team, the same year she was named the PGA Teaching Professional of the Year for NSW/ACT, becoming the first woman to do so.

Ken Trimble has spent 10 years as a touring professional, competing on the Australasian, European and Asian Tours, with tournament victories including the 1990 NSW Open and the 1990 Bolton Old Links Challenge in the UK. Ken finished runner up in 5 Australasian Tour events and was a prolific Pro-Am winner. He has also established 12 course records and competed in the 1990 Open at St Andrews and 1992 Open at Muirfield.

The use of metal woods on the practice range is prohibited, as the length of the range is only 150 metres.
